I bought a nice, non-counterfeit Nokia phone recently and, being the technology nerd that I am, have been having fun with it. Unfortunately, it’s a Nokia business-class phone which doesn’t have a proper headset jack, but requires an adapter to use my block-out-all-the-outside-world headphones that I use when riding the T. I purchased an adapter from an online retailer with a decent reputation and received a non-working unit. I suspected that it might be a fake, as it’s kind of junky. Anyway, the company quickly shipped out a replacement, at no cost to me. Funny thing is: the replacement that came has the same serial number. Too funny. I’m still laughing and I’m glad it wasn’t expensive.
