did you notice the ISO on that image? 6400!! That’s why I had you two redo the shot. In aperature priority with auto ISO turned on in the D3, the camera likes to favor crazy-high shutter speeds over lower ISOs. It’s my one complaint with the camera. I had to drop it into manual mode to get a better ISO on the other ones (though the shots lacked the mysterious “lime props” in them. That being said, the photos are still “print quality” ones.

No, I didn’t even notice. That’s completely insane and I’m jealous. Shadows probably would show more noise, but still it’s pretty impressive.
